Leaked Panamera Photos Show Sportier, Sexier Family-Friendly Sport Sedan

Spy photos have been leaked over the past few weeks showing what most believe to be the next generation Porsche Panamera. The four seat sport sedan has been around since the 2010 model year and has undergone a facelift along the way. The appearance—which is much better in person—has been nothing short of polarizing.
The photos show a vehicle with a similar look to the current model, but sleeker and slightly longer with a wider track. The new look will likely be a bit less offensive, looking more of a fastback sedan than a coupe trying to be a sedan trying to be a coupe.
The Panamera will likely show up in more than watermarked spy photos in 2016 and debut for the 2017 model year. It expected to be built on Volkswagen’s MSB platform which features light weight steel and aluminum. The architecture moves the front-mounted engine closer to the bulkhead for better weight distribution and keeps the current model’s tunnel design throughout the passenger cabin which allows the four seats to be mounted a bit lower than most sedans for a more dynamic center of gravity.
Expect the new Panamera to feature a series of power plants like the current line which range from a 310 horsepower 3.6 liter V-6 to a 570 horsepower 4.8 liter V-8 and includes a hybrid. Some experts speculate we’ll also see a shooting brake or wagon option.
