Scion Set to Bring Three Models to Market for “Independently Minded” Individuals

Never really understood what the Scion brand was all about? The toaster-like xB never really do it for you? Get ready for what Scion has next.
The square bodied Scion days are over as new body styles are being introduced from the manufacturer in 2015 including a new sedan that will be introduced in April at the New York International Auto Show along with the all-new Scion iM. The iM is the official name for the production version of the iM Concept car shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
“With the iM hatchback and our first sedan, we’re inviting drivers to re-imagine what they can accomplish with a Scion,” said Scion Group Vice President Doug Murtha. “Both new models will stand out in the marketplace for their style and substance. I can confidently predict that 2015 will be an exciting year for Scion.”
Together, the two vehicles represent two of the three new models Scion will bring to market in the next three years
Scion’s newest vehicles are focused to appeal to “independently minded 18-34 year olds.” Which Scion believes is a demographic that equally looks for adventure and sensibility while shopping for a new vehicle.
Scion’s prices also appeal to the younger generation of car buyers with models starting as low as $16,435.
Currently no specific pricing or on-sale information is available on the new models but estimates are for a mid-2015 launch with pricing starting around $20,000.
