April 23 and 24, we’ll be participating in the annual Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association Family Car Challenge. What does that mean?

That means that for two days we’ll be joining with other automotive journalists and doing extended test drives of 19 different automobiles to determine which is the Best Family Car in a variety of categories:

• New Best Family Car
• Best Value Family Car
• Best 3-Row Family Car
• Best Green Family Car
• Best Luxury Family Car

Each manufacturer was asked to submit vehicles they wish to be evaluated. GAAMA only tests vehicles submitted during the Challenge. Competing vehicles include:

• Mazda CX-5
• Mazda Mazda6
• Hyundai Sonata Eco
• Hyundai Santa Fe Limited
• Toyota Sienna

• Chevrolet Suburban LTZ
• Ford F-150
• Honda CR-V Touring
• Acura MDX
• Volkswagen Golf Sport Wagen TDI SE
• Porsche Macan Turbo
