Want more luxury out of your Hyundai Equus? New for 2016 is Hands-free Smart Trunk with Automatic Opening, available in the Ultimate model.

According to the manufacturer, “This feature enables the owner to open the trunk, hands-free, by simply standing for a few seconds within a few feet of the Equus trunk with the Equus key in their pocket or purse.”

Hyundai boasts that this is easier and more practical to use than similar technology used by their competitors (cough, Lincoln, cough) because it doesn’t require a kicking motion by the leg to activate.
