Ford Transit Connect Receives More Engine Options in 2016

When it comes to moving around large groups of people in a vehicle, fuel economy is important. Ford is giving their customers more options to improve fuel economy on their 2016 Ford Transit Connect.
The compact commercial van will come standard with the flexible-fuel vehicle system on 2016 Transit Connect vans with 2.5-liter I-4 engines destined for non-California emissions states. Flex-fuel Transit Connect vans are engineered to run on E85 (85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline), unleaded gasoline or any blend of the two.
Customers also have the options of a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine on Transit Connect vans and Transit Connect Wagon XLT.
2016 Transit Connect vans will be available at Ford dealerships beginning in September.
