Imports Top Domestics in Latest Auto Manufacturer Consumer Satisfaction Ratings

Every time you check Twitter, it seems like there’s another vehicle being recalled. It’s no wonder that with the amount of recalls Americans are not nearly as satisfied with their vehicles as they were 10-20 years ago.
New data from the American Consumer Satisfaction Index suggests that domestic manufacturers are taking the brunt of the dissatisfaction while foreign owned brands fare far better overall.

- Lincoln – 83
- Acura – 83 (up 8%)
- BMW – 82 (up 3%)
- Subaru – 82 (down 4%)
- Toyota – 81 (down 1%)
- Buick – 80 (down 4%)
- Volkswagen – 80 (down 5%)
- Honda – 80 (down 4%)
- Cadillac – 80
- Mazda – 80
- Ford – 79 (down 2%)
- Chevrolet – 79 (down 2%)
- Volvo – 79
- General Motors – 79 (down 3%)
- GMC – 78 (down 5%)
- Kia – 78 (down 5%)
- Audi – 78 (down 1%)
- Mitsubishi – 77*
- Infiniti – 77*
- Nissan – 77 (down 5%)
- MINI – 76*

For the study, 4,294 customers were surveyed in the second quarter of 2015.
