With its debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show quickly approaching, Jaguar has revealed additional details about its hotly anticipated all-new crossover, the F-PACE. Here’s what we know:

Like other Jaguars, the F-PACE is a performance driven vehicle. The manufacturer cites “an unrivalled breadth of dynamic ability” calling it a, “performance crossover designed around people who love driving.”

All that performance doesn’t come with a sacrifice to comfort. Developed using Jaguar’s Lightweight Aluminium Architecture, the SUV offers a stiff ride, double wishbone front suspension and Integral Link rear suspension.

Jaguar’s talking handling, something usually reserved for its sedans and coupes. Touting its electric power-assisted steering system, Jaguar promises it’s incorporates all the learning from the F-TYPE to give the system “even greater feedback.” The brand has combined that with torque vectoring technology first developed for F-TYPE and the torque on-demand all-wheel drive system.

The F-PACE will debut in Frankfurt this September.
