2016 Focus RS is Ford’s Fastest-Accelerating RS Model to Date

Ready! Set! Sprint! The all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS is off the line and able to do 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds.
Powered by a specially engineered version of Ford’s new 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine producing a projected 350 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque, the RS is set reach a top speed of 165 mph.
In the new RS Ford has introduced launch control technology for the first time and debuts Ford Performance All-Wheel Drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring, designed to offer drivers “outstanding traction and grip with dynamic agility and cornering speed.”
Developed by a team of Ford Performance engineers in Europe and the United States, the all-new Focus RS is the third-generation Focus RS – following models launched in 2002 and 2009.
For the United States, Focus RS pricing will start at $36,605. Ford expects delivery to North American customers in spring 2016.
