Volvo Reveals 2017 V90 as a Sexy Station Wagon

Is sexy the right word for a station wagon? That’s right. We said it. We’re not scared.
I mean, sexy is relative, right? Compared to its previous generations the 2017 Volvo V90 is a straight up hottie with sleek and sophisticated looks in line with what Volvo is currently offering across their model lineup.
The v90 marks the third of Volvo’s top-of-the-line 90 series unveilings (S90 and XC90 are the others), all of which are built on the company’s specially-designed and fully modular Scalable Product Architecture.
Ahead of its official show floor debut, Volvo is already touting the V90’s numerous technology and convenience features including Pilot Assist semi-autonomous drive technology with large animal detection and run-off road mitigation and class-leading connectivity with smartphone integration.
“We have a very strong offer in the V90. The T8 Twin Engine gas plug-in hybrid will deliver around 400 hp and a pure electric range of around 50 km,” said Dr Peter Mertens, Senior Vice President Research & Development at Volvo Cars.
The new Volvo V90 is scheduled to arrive in the United States in 2017.
