Subaru Introduces All-New Impreza, Signals Future of Brand

At the New York International Auto Show, Subaru unveiled the all-new 2017 Impreza, and with it insight into the future of the brand from styling to technology to manufacturing.

Built upon the Subaru Global Platform, the Impreza displays sharp creases in its body styling and a more aggressive front end than previous generations all while retaining its Subaru heritage.

Inside, the cabin is filled with design potential customers already see in the Forester and Outback. Silver lined vents accent the dashboard while Subaru’s signature no nonsense approach to switches, dials and buttons take center stage.

Subaru has upped its award-winning technology offerings in the Impreza, which how has available EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The Impreza serves as the debut for two new Subaru safety technologies- Reverse Automatic Braking and 4-way Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

The Impreza will come in four trim lines with the Limited level getting more premium features truly setting it apart from the other lines inlacing leather trim and Steering Responsive Headlights.

From what Subaru has brought forth in the 2017 Impreza, we can expect to see a more luxurious interior offered in future Forester and Outback models as well as exterior styling that follows the industry move toward more aggressive creases and sleek headlamps.

The 2017 Subaru Impreza arrives in showrooms this spring.
